Have you heard of the Clean 15 and the Dirty Dozen list?
Every year The Environmental Working Group put in a tremendous amount of time and money into testing fruits and vegetables to see which ones are the cleanest and dirtiest so you can eat healthier. Here is their newly released its 2020 Clean 15 and Dirty Dozen list, a “Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce”.
Eating your fruits and veggies is always important, especially now that we really need to boost our immune system!
Knowing what fruits and veggies are sprayed the most is vital so that you can make the best choices possible when eating your favorite fruits and vegetables.
It would be ideal to always eat non-GMO organic, but that is not always possible, so if you know which ones are less likely to be sprayed with Roundup and other toxins, you will be better off! Another important aspect to be aware of, is which fruits are peeled before eating, such as bananas, pineapple, and citrus. Most of the toxins are on the peel or skin. At least it will limit your exposure to them.
